Just under 4 weeks ago, it was announced Sidy N’Dir had injured his knee against Maryland Eastern Shore, and would be out 4-6 weeks rehabbing the injury.
Last night on his radio show, Jeff Capel mentioned that depending on how N’Dir felt in practice today, he could be ready to play tomorrow versus North Carolina State
Pitt coach Jeff Capel just said on his radio show that injured guard Sidy N’Dir is “close” to returning and will practice in full tomorrow. If there’s no pain, he’ll be available for Saturday at N.C. State.

This is definitely welcome news for Pitt. I’ve been a big fan of Sidy’s play, and think he adds a great dynamic to the team. He’s not a super high scoring option, but does all the little things very well in my opinion. He’s certainly a great bench guard option to have when Trey or Xavier have foul trouble.
Pitt’s about to enter easily the toughest stretch of its ACC schedule, and getting a little bit of help back is very welcome.
