First up, the Pitt fan confidence poll. Unfortunately the graphic is MIA this week but that Pitt’s fan confidence fell off a cliff is unsurprising after the Virginia Tech game. I was surprised at how low it was, frankly, with only about 53% of Pitt fans having confidence in the program. That’s down from nearly 92% last week. I remain surprised that one game can have such a dramatic pull on emotions from what’s been a pretty decent year but, well, there it is.
