Pitt vs. Canisius: Open Gamethread

After a lengthy break, the Pitt men’s basketball team is back in action today with a noon game against Canisius. Typically, of course, a noon weekday game would be a head-scratcher. But since many folks are still in holiday mode, you get these sort of oddball times this time of year.

Pitt (9-3) is, of course, a heavy favorite to win this one. The Panthers are back on the court for the first time since ten days ago when they easily defeated Binghamton.

For Pitt, today’s game is a significant one as it’s the final non-conference game of the year. Next up is the continuation of the ACC season, starting with a home game Saturday against Wake Forest.
