There’s been some exciting news surrounding the Pittsburgh Panthers men’s basketball team over the last few days. Yesterday, Pitt landed shooting guard Ithiel Horton, a transfer from Delaware, and point guard K.J. Marshall, a former high school teammate of Au’Diese Toney, as a walk-on.
A few days ago, Panthers commit Karim Coulibaly helped lead Mali’s U19 national team to the FIBA U19 World Cup championship game; they lost to the United States 93-79.
While I don’t think Pitt hoops has left the mind of some fans, it certainly became top of mind for me as I was sitting in traffic yesterday trying to navigate flooded roads. For me, the most important thing was to not have my car swept away. But what’s the most important thing for the Panthers this season?
