For the first time this season, the Pitt Panthers football team won’t enter a game as the favorite.
Pitt faces No. 13 Miami this weekend and the Hurricanes are clear favorites. The Panthers opened as 9 1/2-point favorites and that number has slightly risen to 10-10 1⁄2 points on most sportsbooks.
Few will be surprised that the Panthers are underdogs here. Despite having only two losses by a single point, it’s Miami that has the attention of the nation with an explosive offense.
