Pitt vs. Gardner-Webb: Open Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: Drexel at Pittsburgh Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pitt men’s basketball team is back at it after a thrilling comeback victory against Northwestern earlier this week.

The Panthers are now 3-1 and will face Gardner-Webb today. As expected, Pitt is a double-digit favorite in the game. The Bulldogs have only played once so far this season — narrowly losing to Western Kentucky, 86-84.

This is a game Pitt should win, obviously, but Gardner-Webb shouldn’t be taken lightly. They shot over 50% from the field in that lone game and that included knocking down 12 of 19 three-pointers — 63% from long distance.

Game time is at 4:00 p.m. and you can catch it on WatchESPN or AT&T Sportsnet. Join us here to comment live during the game.
