Against the Odds: Pitt favored against Georgia Tech

Pitt faces Georgia Tech this week in a Thursday night game. Despite some up and down play this year, the Panthers find themselves as the favorite in a road game.

Pitt opened as a 7 1/2-point favorite and while the line has come down slightly, the Panthers still remain roughly a touchdown favorite with most lines at 6 ¹⁄₂ or 7 points in the team’s favor.

That’s hard to argue with and I think you can actually make the case that the Panthers should be even bigger favorites. Pitt has mostly had more success with the same teams on Georgia Tech’s schedule and the Panthers had been playing well until the ugly game against Clemson.

No guarantees here but I can actually see Pitt cruising in this one.
