Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt coaching staff are in the midst of a quiet couple of weeks, as the team’s spring practice sessions and Blue-Gold Game have been canceled. However, they received some good news late last week, as Pitt made the top seven of Jordan Oladokun, a cornerback out of Tampa, Florida, and a future teammate of fellow Pitt target Ricky Parks at Gaither High School.
TOP 7! God thank you for putting me in a position to support my family pic.twitter.com/y4w63bRXVY

The other six finalists for Oladokun’s services include Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Maryland, Penn State and Virginia Tech. That list was whittled down from a total of 19 offers over the course of Oladokun's recruitment. Some of the most notable programs no longer under consideration include Duke, Indiana, Iowa State, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia and USF, Oladokun’s hometown school.
The 5’11”, 185-pound defensive back is considered a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals. Rivals has Oladokun ranked as the No. 41 cornerback in the 2021 cycle, but 247Sports has him ranked at No. 94 at his position. During his junior season, Oladokun recorded two interceptions and 20 tackles. On offense, he amassed 532 receiving yards and scored six touchdowns. He also added 380 more yards on kick returns.
At this point, a timeline for Oladokun’s decision has not been made clear. So far, he has taken unofficial visits to Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Penn State and USF. He has yet to visit Pitt and will have to wait until the end of the dead period to make the trip up north.
