Noah Thomasson to Visit Pitt

The coveted transfer guard is high on Pitt’s list

NCAA Basketball: MAAC Conference Tournament Semifinal - Iona vs Niagara John Jones-USA TODAY Sports

Niagara transfer Noah Thomasson will be on campus in Oakland tomorrow as part of Pittsburgh Panthers continued pursuit of landing the coveted scorer, per Thomasson’s Twitter page.

Thomasson also recently revealed the final five schools he has whittled his recruitment down to, with Pitt making the cut alongside St. John’s, Penn State, Georgia, and San Francisco.

Thomasson would be a phenomenal addition to Coach Capel and the Panthers. The Niagara product is coming fresh off a 19.5 ppg season, making him one of the top 40 highest scorers in all of college basketball. He shoots the three at a near 40% rate, and standing at 6’3” Thomasson has the ability to score at multiple levels.

If he were to commit, Thomasson would be the third transfer addition this offseason, joining Zach Austin (High Point) and Ishmael Leggett (Rhode Island). Thomasson would likely be the final addition to the class.
