Pitt did what they typically do in high pressure situations - lose to Cincinnati last week. When they had a chance to take over the conference lead, they took a ten-point lead and promptly lost it.

That led to ... yet another fifth place finish in the weekly power rankings. The Big East is just, well, bad.

The big news, though, is that I forgot to get Cardiac Hill's ballot in this week. So where would I rank the teams?

This would have been my ballot if I didn't blow it this week:

1. Cincinnati

2. Louisville

3. West Virginia

4. Rutgers

5. Pitt

6. UConn

7. Syracuse

8. South Florida

Rutgers actually placed in a tie with West Virginia in the cumulative results even though the Mountaineers are 6-3 and the Scarlet Knights are 5-4. Oh yeah, and West Virginia beat them head to head.

Riiight.

Be sure to head over to The UConn Blog to see the final results and the individual ballots.
