Having missed last week's SB Nation Big East Power Rankings, there was no way I'd forget about it again - that's why I took care of it early.

So after a big win, where did I slot Pitt?

Here was Cardiac Hill's ballot for this week:

1. Pitt, 2. Cincinnati, 3. West...

Okay, just kidding

1. West Virginia

2. Cincinnati

3. Rutgers

4. Pitt

5. Louisville

6. UConn

7. South Florida

8. Syracuse

The Bearcats have a better record than the Mountaineers, but West Virginia gets the nod based on their head to head win this week. That win, by the way, actually could help Pitt in holding onto their fleeting conference hopes.

Lost in all of the Big East a bit is that Rutgers is having a pretty decent season. Their non-conference schedule was on the weak side, but they're 7-3 and two of their losses have been by only two points. They have one of the better defenses in the country and it's safe to say they've surprised some people.

Once the full rankings are out from The UConn Blog, I'll post a link.
