Yes, technically.

With all of the Todd Graham and Khem Birch shenanigans last week, the on-field stuff's been forgotten a bit - especially since Pitt was mired in finals and didn't have any games during the week. But nevertheless, Pitt will actually take the court today at the Pete against South Carolina State.

Pitt, quite frankly, has no business even allowing this game to be close.

The Panthers have faced some strong mid-majors, but this isn't one of them. South Carolina State is only 4-6 on the season and was blown out in games against Virginia and Baylor this year. There is one player to watch for, though - 6'2" senior guard/forward Brandon Riley, who averages more than 20 points a game.

But other than Riley, the team has struggled badly offensively. They average only about 66 points per game, shoots only 40% from the field, and averages less than ten assists per game.

Not a great team, in other words.
