It's Christmas week and with shopping not done and my house hosting essentially the equivalent of a Griswold Christmas this year, no time for a huge breakdown of Pitt's game against St. Francis.
In a nutshell, though, their team is a bit in disarray this season. Their best player, Umar Shannon, went down with a knee injury after scoring 26 points in the season opener. They then booted their point guard, Chris Johnson, from the program for disciplinary reasons.
The team doesn't score, doesn't rebound, and should have trouble with Pitt's frontcourt - Birch or no Birch.
