This is another one of those football and basketball days. There's no chance I was able to give this game the coverage it deserved with so much going on this week. Still, Pitt has a pretty big game tonight against Tennessee.

Last year? Yeah, that didn't go so well.

Tennessee this year is kind of an unknown ... like they were last year. They've not been bad at times in close losses to Duke and Memphis, but also lost their last game to Oakland.

The bad news? The game's at Tennessee. Good news? Scotty Hopson is not.

Pitt's been playing better, but will also have to deal with the loss of starting point guard Tray Woodall, who's going to be out for some time. Jamie Dixon has a few options - he could start John Johnson or he could move Ashton Gibbs to the point and allow Lamar Patterson to start at the two.

Either way, Pitt is playing a bit shorthanded without Woodall, who's been an assist machine this year.
