Pitt Basketball Recruiting: Khem Birch And John Johnson To Play In Mary Kline Classic

2011 Pitt basketball recruits Khem Birch and John Johnson are playing in another special event (do these things ever end?) coming up in May. This one, though, is for a seemingly great cause.

Birch and Johnson will suit up for the Mary Kline Classic on May 28th at the Pennington School in New Jersey. If you're like me, you've never heard of the event. The game is a charitable event started by a son who lost his mother to cancer. 100% of the money raised from the event goes to the American Cancer Society and the National Brain Tumor Foundation.

The game features recruits from the mid-atlantic region and Pitt's duo are two of the stars playing. Birch is probably the biggest name in the event, which will also include a three-point contest and dunk contest after the game.

Adam Zagoria over at ZagsBlog has the full rosters for the two teams.
