Pitt vs. Louisville: Panthers have had recent success against Louisville

Since Louisville joined the Big East in 2005, Pitt and Louisville have had their share of big wins. Louisville won the first three matchups, beating Pitt by at least 20 points in the first two games. The Panthers then turned around and is on a four-game winning streak, having defeated Louisville by at least two touchdowns in three of those games.

Below is a brief history of the games between the two teams since they've been in the Big East. What happens on Saturday is anybody's guess, but Pitt has been successful against the Cardinals recently.

2011: Pitt 21, Louisville 14

2010: Pitt 20, Louisville 3

2009: Pitt 35, Louisville 10

2008: Pitt 41, Louisville 7

2007: Louisville 24, Pitt 17

2006: Louisville 48, Pitt 24

2005: Louisville 42, Pitt 20
