I've been away this week and with all the great coverage we've had on expansion/conference realignment and everything else going on, there's just not been a lot of the South Florida game. But Pitt's long and winding road of a regular season comes to an end today. And if the Panthers can't manage a win, there won't be a postseason.
The outlook was pretty bleak a few weeks ago, but after a big home win over Rutgers last weekend, things are looking up. Pitt takes on arguably the worst team in the conference today in South Florida, but with the game being on the road, it could still be a tough one for the Panthers. The team is a dismal 1-4 away from Heinz Field this season, so nothing is automatic about this game.
But our writers were all in agreement this week - this should be a win for the Panthers.
