SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
I continue to find it mind-boggling that Ohio State ranks so lowly. With an undefeated record, it makes zero since that two-loss Georgia and Stanford teams are rated ahead of them. The only explanation is that some folks are (inexplicably, I add) leaving them off the ballot entirely. If they were ineligible, that'd be one thing. But since they're an option in our poll, you've really got no choice but to vote for them.
On the Big East front, after Rutgers' loss to Louisville, the Cardinals are the only conference team ranked. Both the Scarlet Knights and Cincinnati Bearcats received votes, though.
