New Commit Corey Clement to Enroll Early

Fresh off committing to Pitt last week, Clement made another big announcement when he decided to enroll at Pitt in January so he can take part in spring workouts.

"I want to get ahead of the next (freshman) class," said Clement, who begins a summer class next week. "I don’t want to be shocked. I want to be familiar with things. I thought it would be cool to get a head start. I told my parents and they’re OK with it. The plan is set."

Enrolling early will definitely give Clement the leg up on the rest of the 2013 class. The depth chart, though, at running back for the 2013 season will be a tough one to crack the two-deep. Ray Graham will be gone, but Isaac Bennett and Rushel Shell will both have spent a season with head coach Paul Chryst learning the playbook.

Not saying that Clement can't crack the depth chart as a freshman, but if Shell and Bennett plan out like we hope, it's going to be hard.
