This is a Pitt site and 99% of our topics here are related to the Panthers in one way or another. And even though the Freeh Report is linked to Penn State, there's definitely interest from Pitt fans on it.
The long-awaited Freeh Report is out and you can take a look at it after the jump.
Without further ado, here's the link http://thefreehreportonpsu.com (If that link doesn't work due to high traffic, try downloading it here.)
Jerry Sandusky, of course, remains the focal point, but Joe Paterno has been linked to the issue and, fairly or unfairly, has been joined at the hip to it. That's another topic for another time, but the big thing in this is how is JoePa portrayed in it.
It's of an entirely different context, of course, but the last time a report was anticipated this much in the sports world may have been the Mitchell Report linking players to steroids.Trust me, I'm not comparing the two in any way - only talking about the number of people waiting for it to drop.
This will potentially have some far-reaching consequences, obviously. I'll be breaking this down a bit later on.
