The preseason college football watch lists are coming fast and furious and Pitt's already had a good amount of coverage. On Thursday, a few more players picked up some nods - Aaron Donald and Jarred Holley.

Donald, who had already been named to the watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, given to the top defensive player, was named to the Outland Trophy watch list on Thursday. The Outland Trophy is given to the best interior lineman on offense or defense.

Meanwhile, safety Jarred Holley picked up his first recognition for an award when he was named to the Bronko Nagurski Award watch list. The Nagurski Award is a different award honoring the nation's best defensive player. The obvious omission from the Pitt perspective, anyway, is Donald. How he was left off of that list is anybody's guess, particularly since he made the list for the Bednarik Award. The two awards are given by different entities, but Donald being left off of the Nagurski list is a bit puzzling.
