Hail To Links! The "Water Safety Is No Joke" Edition

The big news coming out of camp yesterday was the season-ending injury to former Penn State transfer Tom Ricketts. He provided much needed depth at an already thin offensive line. Remain calm, fellow Pitt fans, all is...well?

OK, now panic.

Today, we will also be taking a look at the beginning of a new era at Pitt, what the new form of currency in West Virginia may be, the Queens of the beach doing their thing in front of British royalty, and more...after the jump.

The beginning of an era. Jerry DiPaola talks about Rushel Shell and how he is beginning to take on the college game.

I sense great potential in you, young linebackers. While inexperienced, this year's edition of the linebacking corps has great potential with their talent and speed.

College Football Talk takes a stab at ranking the BIG EAST. Ben Kercheval ranks how he thinks the BIG EAST will shake out this year...and much like us, he says it feels like Tino has been here for nearly a decade.

Stay classy, apparel companies playing to Penn Staters. Some people will do anything for a quick buck. This includes making these classy t-shirts and selling them on street corners in State College.

Speaking of classy... West Virginia signed Dana Holgorsen through 2017. No word on if he is being paid in Redbull, Jack & Coke, or Mountaineer Casino reward points.

The greatest at what they do. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings are the three-time Gold Medal champions of Olympic beach volleyball. They have never lost an Olympic Match...and that's insane. Congrats ladies, you have done many great things for the sport of volleyball. Now if only indoor volleyball could get this kind of attention...

Tennessee QB Tyler Bray does not take water safety very seriously. Bray thought it would be fun to play chicken with jet skis, ride dangerously close to people swimming in water, and throw beer bottles at cars. Tommy Rees approves.
