Doctor Robert: Pitt vs. Old Dominion Injury Report

Pitt has a couple of important guys this week that are a bit banged up in wide receiver Devin Street and running back James Conner.

As I said in the Paul Chryst press conference recap, missing one would be bad but both would be very significant. Pitt has other guys that can fill in, but anytime you miss your leading receiver and leading rusher, it's rough. The bright side is that against Old Dominion, it's a game the Panthers should still be able to win. But missing one or both would make things a bit more interesting.

Street, who took the brunt of a big hit by Virginia Tech's Kyshoen Jarrett, took a long time to get off the field afterwards. But following the game, he said he'd be ready to go this week. As of Monday, we hadn't heard too much on Conner's status, but he came out of the game against the Hokies after only two carries with a shoulder injury.

Also, last week, it was learned that backup center Gabe Roberts would be out for the season. Taking his place on the depth chart is Shane Johnson.
