For the first time in weeks, Pitt football fans will not be able to check out next week's opponent live and watch their Panthers at the same time this week. The Panthers will travel to Annapolis for the game this week to take on the Midshipmen of Navy at 1:00 p.m. But unlike previous weeks, next week's opponent will overlap Pitt's game.
Before Pitt travels to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech next week, the Yellow Jackets will travel to the University of Virginia to kickoff at 12:30 p.m. this week. The Cavaliers carry in a 2-5 record, while the Jackets stand in at 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the ACC.
The game will be televised on ESPN3, so you could plug in the old laptop, iPad, PC, or whatever else has an internet connection and check out Tech's vaunted running game at the same time as you are watching Pitt and Navy. If you are planning on doing so, and will be downing some adult beverages at the same time, don't get scared if you are having trouble distinguishing the games. Navy and GT have similar uniform colors, while also unleashing a run-happy option offense.
