Pitt vs. North Carolina: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

Big test for Pitt today. Not only do they try to keep some momentum going with a conference win, but it's also a chance for the Panthers to claim bowl eligibility. Pitt will have two more chances to do that, but like this one, neither of the other two are gimmes. Syracuse isn't half bad and is a road game for Pitt. And while Miami is struggling lately, we all saw what the Hurricanes did to the Panthers the last time they were here a few years ago.

A Pitt win and they'll also have a solid chance to get to eight wins with a bowl game victory - the most they've had since 2010.
