Pitt vs. Syracuse: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

The drive for bowl eligibility continues on today and while it's not over with a loss, things start to look pretty gloomy with a game against Miami next week at home. Let's be honest - the Panthers need to win today's game.

Pitt comes in a bit banged up, as we've been over. Quarterback Tom Savage left last week's game before coming back later. Star wideout Devin Street was listed as questionable this week and even if he plays, it's pretty clear he's not going to be 100%. The offensive line was missing two starters last week and could still be hobbled this week.

On the road, the Panthers will need to dig down and play well to win this game against two teams that are pretty close to each other.
