Pitt vs. Notre Dame: Open Gamethread

Kevin Liles-USA TODAY Sports

The season's winding down folks. Almost seems like it just began, but just like that, we're in the final 1/3 of the season. Pitt gets a pretty good Notre Dame game at home tonight and you can expect a good turnout if the weather holds out. Even if it's not all that pleasant out, with a sellout and Notre Dame in town, it's still hard to envision a bad crowd.

If you haven't yet, be sure to check out our game week page with our preview, depth chart, injury list, predictions, and more. Also, leave your own prediction for the game in the comments section and then check back at game time to comment live during the game.

If nothing else, I've got a good feeling that Pitt will be able to keep the game close. The Irish defense isn't a pushover, but if Tom Savage gets some time to throw, I think he can do some damage.

I should be there tonight, but should drop in once I get settled.
