A look at the Tar Heels before they face Pitt

It's time to look ahead towards next week to see what Pitt's opponent will be doing while the Panthers are playing Notre Dame. I know, I know...one game at a time for Pitt. Well, here's the good thing: We don't play on the team, so we can look ahead if we want to do so. Before the North Carolina Tar Heels travel north to Heinz Field next week, they will be in the friendly confines of Kenan Stadium this weekend. Panther fans can feel free to log online and go to ESPN3 to watch the Heels play host to the Virginia Cavaliers at 12:30PM this Saturday. It seems the scheduling gods have given Pitt fans a lot of chances to watch next week's opponent this season and this week will be no different. When they were 1-5, UNC had been looking like an easy win towards the end of the year for Pitt. Don't look now, but the boys in blue are on a two game winning streak. They are coming off wins over ACC peers Boston College and NC State to improve to 3-5 and with UVA struggling, they could pull to within one game of .500 before taking their show up north. Can they do it? Tune in before heading over to a rowdy Heinz Field (yeah, I said it...rowdy) on Saturday night and get a sneak peek at what is in store for the Panthers next week.
