Pitt vs. Bowling Green: Little Caesars Pizza Bowl Open Gamethread

Mark A. Cunningham

The big day is here, folks. Pitt takes on Bowling Green in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl game a little later today at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN.

A win isn't going to be viewed as a big one for the Panthers, but a loss will mean another defeat to a MAC team. As I've said before, Bowling Green is a good team for sure, but a win against them probably won't be as big of a victory as it will be as meaningful a loss. Pitt desperately needs to show recruits that things are turning around and losing to a MAC program (even a good one) on national TV isn't the way to do it.
