Pitt vs. Syracuse: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

After a few days off, Pitt finally gets their Big East Tournament play underway with a game against Syracuse.

As Greg broke down the game earlier, this is a game Pitt can win. The Panthers have already beaten the Orange earlier this year and are capable of doing so again. If we're being honest, it was a different Syracuse team with some key personnel missing). But the thing that should instill some degree of confidence is that Pitt has had great success against the Orange in general.

I don't expect it will be easy, though. Syracuse has been on a bit of a slide and no doubt would like to improve their seeding for the NCAAs. They really could use another nice win and beating Pitt would certainly be one.

If you're like most of us, you'll be stuck at work. I won't be around but stop in and comment live during the game if you can.
