Pitt's baseball team has played nine games on the road, but now they'll return home for a couple of weeks. Those home contests will be part of two tournaments - Panther Classic I and Panther Classic II.
The Panther Classic I tournament will run from this Friday to the following Tuesday. In that stretch, Pitt will play Youngstown State twice and Manhattan twice. They'll also take on West Virginia in their final game on Tuesday.
Panther Classic II will begin the following Friday and again conclude on Tuesday. In that event, the Panthers will take on Toledo and Niagara twice. In their final game there, Pitt takes on Penn State.
After a weekend sweep against Wofford, Pitt got off to a hot start. Things cooled off this past weekend after three straight losses against The Citadel, UNC-Asheville, and VCU. At 5-4, we're not really sure just how good this team is right now. But we should know a lot more after these ten home games.
