We're finally here, folks - the end to another basketball regular season.
Pitt should win this one - we all know that. But don't underestimate DePaul putting up a fight. For one, Pitt could be caught looking ahead to the Big East Tournament. Then there's the fact the game is on the road.
DePaul also has been on the wrong end of a good amount of close games. Three of their losses went to overtime - two of those were to Notre Dame, a pretty good team. They also lost to Cincinnati and Seton Hall by a total of six points. They've even got a couple of wins in the Big East against Providence and Rutgers in addition to beating a 20-win team in Arizona State.
That enough to scare you? Don't let it. Pitt beat up on DePaul by 38 points earlier this season at the Pete and while I think the game will be closer this time around, I actually think Jamie Dixon will make it a point to tell the team not to get comfortable since they won by so much this time around. I just don't see the Panthers losing this one.
