According to the L.A. Times, Pitt running back transfer, Rushel Shell, will visit UCLA this weekend. The Trib also has confirmed the report according to someone close to Shell.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise. The four schools rumored the most for Shell were Arizona, Arizona State, Cal and UCLA. Pitt has reportedly blocked Shell from going to Arizona or Arizona State on a scholarship. And as I wrote about last night, Cal may not have any interest in Shell. So, um, not many other options if those were his four targets. For what it's worth, Finest Preps who initially broke the story, also previously listed USC as a potential destination.
Shell may not limit himself to those four if Cal is indeed not interested. I'm sure he'd rather have more than one option to choose from, so expect some others to be in play unless he's really blown away this weekend. And like we've said before, he can still go to Arizona State and pay his own way for his first season - so that option could still be in play.
