Typically most of us cringe when we hear a Pitt game is only going to be broadcast on ESPN3. But in the case of the school's latest announcement, it's not such a bad thing.
The Panthers will have some of their men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball matches shown on the network this season. Six volleyball matches, three men's soccer, and five women's soccer matches will all be aired and it's great that some of the lower-profile programs will get a little air time.
Another cool feature is that 11 of the 14 matches will be at home.
Among the highlights on the schedule:
- North Carolina's National Champion women's soccer team plays Pitt on Thursday, September 26th
- North Carolina's men's soccer team (2011 National Champions) plays Pitt on Saturday, October 26th
- Florida State's 2012 ACC Champion volleyball team plays Pitt on Sunday, October 13th
