Typically, we reserve the open threads for games around these parts. But with news of Pitt football head coach Paul Chryst abandoning ship to head to Wisconsin, I thought setting one up for his press conference tonight would be helpful.
The presser is expected to start at 7:00 p.m. EST from what I can tell and my guess is that there will have to be a live stream on it somewhere. One place to listen to it is here. In addition, details should leak out via Twitter of how Chryst addresses his new team and leaving Pitt. After the announcement, there will probably also be some sort of response from the Pitt end, so look for that as well.
Not sure how long this will last, although the inordinate amount of gushing about his dream job and the 'local boy making good' questions are sure to take up a good amount of time.
