Pitt vs. Boston College: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

A little short on time here, but Pitt has a rebound game of sorts today against Boston College. After the horrendous showing against Louisville on Thursday, this is obviously one of those quick turnaround games.

Boston College (7-9) is not a good team, folks. They are winless (0-3) in the conference and just suffered a 22-point loss to Syracuse. Earlier this year, they dropped six straight games, including to Penn State, UC-Irvine, and (lolwut) UMass-Lowell. They also needed overtime to defeat New Hampshire.

I made a point to say that the Louisville game wasn't cause for great alarm. But if Pitt comes out flat here and has trouble with Boston College, that will be a problem. The Eagles are struggling and this isn't a game Pitt can afford to drop.

Game time is at 2:00 p.m. and locally, you can catch it on ROOT Sports. Join us here to comment live during the contest.
