Pitt is in desperate need of a win and will look to get back on track against Florida International at home on Saturday. The team is off to a 1-2 start and with a tough road test coming up next weekend at Notre Dame, really needs to pull out a victory.
While it's expected that Pitt will win, FIU will likely be no pushover as they've been competitive in each of their three games against BCS-conference schools Rutgers, Texas A&M, and Maryland.
The two positions to watch heading into today's game are at quarterback and running back. Tino Sunseri remains Pitt's starter, but was replaced late in the last game against Miami. If he struggles again, Pat Bostick could enter the game. At running back, Dion Lewis remains the starter, but backup Ray Graham will see plenty of carries. He was more effective against Miami and if that trend continues Saturday, he could see more time on the field than Lewis against Notre Dame.
