Backyard Brawl basketball style on tap for Big Monday on ESPN.
This, like every other game this year (thanks to hole Pitt finds itself in), is a big one. Since it's a road game, I think this is one of Pitt's toughest games left - probably third behind road games against UConn and Louisville.
If Pitt can somehow win this one, whether right or wrong, look for the Panthers' bandwagon to be practically full again. Losing won't be the end of the world, but it will be a significant blow to NCAA hopes.
The difference may come down to if we get good Tray Woodall or bad Tray Woodall. Against Providence, Woodall went for 17 points on 6-8 shooting, nine assists, and only one turnover. In Saturday's game against Georgetown, he had ten assists, but only four points on 1-7 shooting and four turnovers. It didn't hurt them in that game due to the herculean effort by Nasir Robinson and Lamar Patterson, but Pitt can't count on that every night out.
