Pitt vs. Delaware State: Open Gamethread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Pitt's non-conference season is winding down ... I promise. Tonight, Pitt gets Delaware State and here was my extremely brief preview on the game.

One matchup I'll be watching is freshman Steven Adams against the Hornets' Kendall Gray. Gray is a 6'10" 240-pound center that is second on their team in rebounding with just under five per game. He's also an absolute block machine averaging nearly four per contest - good for sixth in the nation. Will be interesting to see if Adams can continue his hot streak against someone who plays pretty good defense on the surface.

The Hornets are led by a trio of sophomores - the aforementioned Gray and the team's two leading scorers, Tahj Tate and Tyshawn Bell.

Leave your pre-game thoughts in the thread below and stop by to comment live during the game.
