2012 CBI Tournament: Pitt Vs. Washington State Open Gamethread

I'm a little less enthusiastic about Pitt's game that starts at 10:00 p.m. tonight. Getting old means earlier bedtimes, but nevertheless, I'll be up for the whole thing.

I'll be interested in seeing how Pitt will react to the western time zone and still getting their bodies adjusted. The Panthers rarely play too far west, so this is going to be a bit of a change. The good news in all of this, though, is that it's only for one game. And while I don't want to see a loss in the opener, the Panthers still have the benefit of playing the Cougars at home in the next two games, if necessary.

The storyline for tonight is obviously the injury to WSU star Brock Motum. If he can't go, that should give the Panthers a bit of an advantage.

Will also be looking to see what the crowd is like once the series comes to Pittsburgh. I have a hard time believing the Pete is going to be anywhere close to full once the series travels back here, but I do think we'll see bigger totals than in the first two games. Will I be there? Doubtful. But I think winning has changed the tune for some and that fans will be more willing to show up.
