Don't know who came up with this, but it's a pretty cool idea. Helmet stickers on the back of the helmets offer a history of what Pitt helmets have looked like over the years including unadorned leather helmets; the original script Pitt and that obnoxious, seal-looking Panther head. Certainly this won't help with wins and losses, but there is something to be said for keeping players informed about history and tradition even in a simple way.
