(Don't) Bet the Farm: Pitt-Miami Predictions

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Another season is just about in the books, friends. Pitt wraps up the regular football season on Friday against Miami and then will wait to hear where they'll be going bowling.

Can't speak for everyone here, but personally, this was kind of a tough game to pick. I do think Miami is the better team and the Panthers haven't historically had virtually no success against them. But the Hurricanes are a bit banged up, are traveling on the road, and playing in a cold-weather climate. In other words, there are reasons to think Pitt can keep this one close and maybe even win.

That said, see below for our writers' game predictions for this week along with the season standings so far: Jim and I are going for the regular season title here and, for the record, I hope he wins it and Pitt proves me wrong.

Anson (9-2): Miami

Jim (9-2): Pitt

Bryan (8-3): Pitt

Mike (8-3): Miami

Chris (7-4): Miami

Pat (7-4): Miami
