Three-star WR Cameron Monteiro commits to Pitt

The commitments to the 2024 class have been flowing over the week and Pat Narduzzi and company add another talented play to their class. Three-star wide receiver Cameron Monteiro has announced his commitment to play for the Pittsburgh Panthers as posted on his Twitter account.

The 6’3 receiver was the number three ranked recruit out of Massachusetts coming from Brockton High according to 24/7 Sports. Monteiro also had Kentucky and Virginia in his top three before ultimately committing to Pittsburgh.

Monteiro is a multi-position athlete that has also played running back and quarterback for Brockton. The latest Pitt commit also showcased his athletic ability in Basketball as well as earning All-Scholastic honors from the Boston Herald. The dual-threat athlete ended with 1,213 yards as a wide receiver and running back with a total of 18 touchdowns.

That followed up a junior year with 979 total yards and 11 total touchdowns. Some of the highlights from that season can be seen below.
