So, yeah - I get that the NCAAs are now here and the regular season is over. That said, I thought I'd do one more conference power rankings post before closing it down for the year.
Here you go - again, numbers after the teams are the spots they've moved up or down since the last rankings a week or so ago.
1. Louisville (+1)
2. Georgetown (-1)
3. Marquette (--)
4. Syracuse (+2)
5. Notre Dame (-1)
6. Pitt (-1)
7. Villanova (+1)
8. Cincinnati (+1)
9. UConn (+1)
10. Providence (-3)
11. Rutgers (+1)
12. St. John's (-1)
13. Seton Hall (+1)
14. South Florida (-1)
15. DePaul (--)
Not too many surprises here. You could make the argument that Syracuse could possibly move up another spot because they reached the Big East final, but Marquette had three more conference wins and also beat Syracuse a few weeks ago.
We'll likely do this again for football and basketball next year ... in a new conference.
