The Tribune Review is reporting that Pitt has hired Duquesne’s McConnell-Serio as women’s basketball coach

While it is tough to know if there were other candidates, I have always admired McConnell-Serio's career as a player an these past years at Duquesne. I don't know if she can get more out of the returning team than Coach Berenato, but perhaps she'll be able to recruit and improve the team down the road.
