Another recruit for Pitt: Linebacker Quintin Wirginis commits to Panthers

No sooner than I finished the post on Mike Herndon recruiting, another one strolled through the door.

While Twitter and TV press conferences have become the norm for announcing, Fox Chapel linebacker Quintin Wirginis and a friend used Vine to announce his commitment, calling a Pitt coach and declaring that he wants to be a Panther. So yeah, there's that.

In all seriousness, if we're judging the creativity here, it's got to rate highly.

Wirginis isn't rated by Rivals or by 24/7, and I'm not seeing a Scout page for him yet. But reportedly, the linebacker had other offers from Temple, VMI, and Robert Morris. He recently got the Pitt offer after attending a camp.

Not a ton out there on Wirginis so not too much to digest just yet. Here are some highlights from him last season if you've got the time.
