If you're staying up for Pitt's game against Hawaii tonight, you're a diehard.
With the game tipping off at midnight Eastern Time, my guess is that most Pitt fans outside of the ones traveling to Maui will miss this one. What makes it particularly hard to follow is that the game won't be televised, either. The Panthers are down there for the Maui Invitational, even though this game isn't technically in the bracket.
Chances are, I won't be awake when the game tips off - much less when it ends. But if you're up and around, check in during the open thread that I'm leaving up.
With a road game in what has sometimes been a difficult place to play along with a cross country trip, I'm not expecting a blowout win here. As we said in the weekly predictions earlier, this should be a win. But with so many variables, a closer-than-expected game shouldn't surprise anyone.
