With the loss of head coach Paul Chryst, as expected, Pitt has seen some defections in the way of 2015 verbal commitments to the football program. The Panthers are reportedly down to ten recruits for next year and time is running out on new head coach Pat Narduzzi to assemble a class.
This isn't anything new. Whenever you have a coaching change at the end of the season, the first class is always a bit of a mess. Pitt, more than anyone else, perhaps, knows this dance.
There has been a lot of optimism on the coaching staff that Narduzzi is putting together and with the experience of those guys, that's pretty justified in my opinion. But with the recent losses of defensive lineman Kraig Howe, offensive lineman Rob Dowdy, and quarterback Alex Hornibrook, where are your feelings for Pitt's 2015 class with National Signing Day approaching?
