With the college football offseason officially here, we're now in the season of a slew of lists and rankings ... and whatever else is required to get everyone through until next season, I suppose.
ESPN is compiling a list of the top 100 college football players based on their play for 2014. Unsurprisingly, a couple of Panthers both made the list.
Wide receiver Tyler Boyd checked in first at No. 63 on their countdown. James Conner was slightly ahead of him at No. 57.
Going into next season, you can probably expect to see Boyd and Conner bumped up a little bit on the preseason list with the seniors departing. Outside of them, though, it seems any other Pitt players would make the list.
Too high, too low?
