Pitt tries to end a three-game losing streak against Notre Dame today. The Panthers get the game at home, but still have a tall order in front of them against the Irish.
Notre Dame is 20-2 and really enters the game on a roll with recent wins over Duke and North Carolina. The Irish are a top ten team offensively, scoring over 81 points per game. And considering how efficient they are from the floor (their 52.1% accuracy is 2nd in the nation), you start to see why they score so many points.
The Irish are led by Jerian Grant, one of the top players in the conference, but they have plenty of other players that can hurt you as well. After the debacle in Virginia Tech beyond the arc, keep an eye on Demetrius Jackson and Pat Connaughton, who both shoot about 45% from three-point range and can get hot. The pair is 17-29 (59%) over their past three games and could be a handful.
